CURRENT PROJECTS

 

Located near Corona, New Mexico on a 28,000 acre research ranch, owned by New Mexico State University, the facility will be dedicated to the study of sustainable ranching methods.  Currently in schematic design, the isolated multiple-building complex has been mandated to serve as a demonstration of minimal impact construction and energy efficient design.

The new 34,000 square-foot building will house the State of New Mexico’s permanent archaeological collections in two climate-controlled repositories, as well as providing offices and laboratories for the Office of Archaeological Studies (OAS).  The Center will be the initial building in the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs Collections and Services Campus to be developed on the southwest edge of Santa Fe.

Currently in the working drawings phase, this multi-use community building will provide a variety of services and activities to multigenerational users, from the frail elderly to school-aged children.

In association with Connolly Architects of Austin, Texas has begun the initial programming and planning phases for the design of a new animal shelter to be located in Edgewood, New Mexico.  The state-of-the-art shelter will serve eastern Bernalillo County, southern Santa Fe County and all of Torrance County.

Currently under construction19,000 square foot gymnasium addition to an existing community center will hold a full-size gymnasium. A joint effort of Bernalillo County and East Mountain High School, the project is scheduled for completion in early 2008

Located in southwestern Santa Fe, the five dwelling unit transitional living shelter will house homeless youth, including those with young children.  It is being developed by the non-profit Youth Shelters and Family Services.  The project is currently in contract documents with construction completion anticipated in late 2008.
